It happened to me on a Saturday morning when I was driving to Lancaster, and the check engine signal started flashing on my dashboard like a Christmas tree. My stomach sunk at once. I did not know what the issue was, but it did not appear as though the driving changed any. However, I did not want to risk it, particularly, since the weekend involved a road trip.

What impressed me the most was the manner in which I was made to understand each and everything, what the sensor is, why it has failed and how it can impact my fuel economy and engine efficiency unless it is replaced. They even demonstrated the real data to me showing their scan tool. Being a person with little knowledge about cars, I was very much impressed by their competence at explaining and at the same time not treating me like a child.

Immediately I authorized the repair. The replacement part was available and started immediately. The technician also pointed out that my spark plugs were facing slight postponement of replacement but that is something to look forward to. I also preferred that they mentioned it as a warning and not an intimidation factor.

In two hours, including examination time, my car was repaired, test-driven, and good to go. I was driving out of the shop with a lot of confidence since the check engine lamp was not on and the engine was running fine. Better still they were able to print the outline of the diagnosis paper and told them how they could avoid further problems by keeping up with the maintenances.

My car runs better since I had it repaired. It gets up to speed faster without jerking, idles with quieter ease and I even got a little better gas mileage. I have so far ridden more than 1,000 miles, not since that road trip I mentioned, and I have not had any problems.
